TEHRAN – The managing director of the Iran Small Industries & Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) said here on Friday that the Iran-Vietnam Joint commerce conference was held here in Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Mines.

Iran’s industries and mines minister, ISIPO managing director, and Vietnamese deputy commerce minister attended the meet, Mohammadreza Notash added. The conference’s goal was to reinforce the Iran-Vietnam economic ties, he said, adding one of the approaches is to establish the Iran-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce. Iran is ready to export industrial machineries, vehicles, chemical and petrochemical products, and electrical and electronic accessories to Vietnam, the official said, adding rice, tea, coffee, and spices will be imported from Vietnam. He also expressed Iran’s readiness to jointly invest in oil projects such as extraction, petrochemical refining, and offshore installations, as well as in other fields like car and tractor manufacturing, cement, and energy power plants with Vietnam
